St. Paul CME Church has been a cornerstone of the Docena, Alabama community since 1916. Founded by Rev. W.E. Perkins in a TCI company "beanery," our congregation has grown through 110 years of faithful service and transforming love.

We offer Sunday worship, Bible Study, Youth & Young Adult Ministry, and Singles Ministry — in person and online through YouTube and Zoom. No matter where you are, there is always a place for you.

The 5th Episcopal District of the CME Church encompasses Alabama and surrounding areas, providing spiritual oversight, fellowship, and connectional ministry to congregations across the region.

Our church is deeply connected to the Birmingham District. Our own Pastor Rev. Elder Desi Echoles serves as the Presiding Elder of the Birmingham District — a testament to our congregation's deep roots and regional influence.
